Let's face it. Customer service in Bermuda sucks. I have never in my life
been treated so poorly when trying to buy things. Most countries in the
world care about how customers feel, not Bermuda.

But with that said, I want to applaud the few that do offer brilliant
service. Arnold's MaxiMart on Middle Road is FANTASTIC. It doesn't matter
if you encounter an ex-pat or a Bermudian employee, they are all
wonderful. I will go out of my way to shop there (even though there isn't
much selection) because I love the way I am treated. I walk out with a
smile on my face every single time.

Anthony who drives the Minibus in Southampton is FANTASTIC as well.
Friendly, happy, funny-the guy is the complete package!
Thanks to those of you who make our days brighter!

Great idea, wrong site...

I'm glad you give those who really deserve recognition some applause.
It's important to give credit where credit is due, and I'm all for that.

So, I'm pleased to announce that's what we are going to use the companion
site, BermudaRocks.com for!

We will be removing that site's existing forum, (we'll archive the few
posts from that site here, since most of the comments were aimed at the
'Sucks' audience), and create a place to recognize the best in Bermuda
with "That Rocks!" awards.

Be patient, this is an effort done in spare time with limited resources,
but it will happen.
