About to mail my 2010-05-06 postal vote for Britain's Lib-Dems—YAY!

This is a timely topic for me, Brenda.  After 17 years living in "strange lands", I'm a citizen with a vote now.  Interestingly, in Australia the vote is compulsory, punishable by fine or imprisonment.   I'm in the challenging position of trying to evaluate not only the candidates, but my own political orientation, as elections in my state have been called in less than two months.

Frankly, I'd welcome a published list of candidates with tax arrears to help me narrow my selection.
