No pun intended Tigga, but in terms of what you say, are either black or white aren't you?

There is never any middle ground with you. Even when there is a degree of acceptance from one of us on something you say, you are unable to respond to that. Maybe you see that as a personal weakness, I don't know.

You talk of 'coming on the site with the best of intentions' (whenever that was), but any and every word used by someone that you even perceive to be white is flushed down the toilet by you. Disregarded and pushed aside as worthless.

I guess as long as we continue to criticize Dr Brown and the Government, then that will be seen as "hating" by you, instead of being even considered by you on it's merits. I doubt your view would change if it was someone else other than the Doc. It's an easy way out for you - and one that I understand.

I genuinely hope that the old adage "what goes around comes around" (as it is now to some extent here), never comes back to bite you.

Have a good day my friend.

Cox usually accompanies Brown on his official high level visits to Washington. I find it incredible that he did not discuss the the Chinese plan with her. Surely he must know the vast majority of Bermudians trust her more than him. Butler resigned on principle, something in short supply within the Cabinet. Cox and the country now know that Brown doesn't trust her and should resign immediately!

"Cox and the country now know that Brown doesn't trust her and should resign immediately!"

Actually, based on Friday, she should now just accept the fact that over 70% of Bermuda cannot trust her, nor her fellow Ministers and they either should all resign or immediately get started with the internal formalities of forcing Brown to resign or have him forced out of his position.

I imagine there is a lot of horse-trading going on as he tries to salvage as much as he can before leaving but as long as Brown is still Premier it's his reputation that they all have to live by. They own his mess.

I understand your position, but Cox in more than a Minister. She is #2,-----Brown's deputy!!
If #1 cannot trust and confide in #2, they should part company.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all. She even admits she feels "neutered".

In a political organization where having "testicular fortitude" is so important she's basically saying she has nothing in her sack. So why even be there?

ur right to a point sparxx - but judging from ur karma points - u must be new here - i actually came on this site with the best intentions  - but i soon realized that this site was a hatefest for frustrated white men to vent - there is no real desire for debate - so i play along - thaao and guilden used to spend oodles of words spelling out impressive points only to be attacked with nonsense - in the words of Søren Kierkegaard - u become a monster when u fight monsters

sadly race relations in bda will for a long time be limited to the truly open, truly brave like dr. ball, david allen people like yourself

the real sadness is that people like grant gibbons and john barritt and dunkley even - white men who came of age during the liberal post civil rights era in the US/canada and were educated at liberal schools (gibbons in boston bartitt in ontario) yet unlike say hilary clinton who was raised republican but saw the light in college and became a democrat because of that partys dedication for equal rights - these white men came back to bda and did teh easy thing - joined daddy's party based on race

barritt has admitted that he had more blk friends while in college than he does in bda - they really f8cked it up - if those men had done the right thing instead of the white thing - not only would the plp have high ranking white members a la dr. ball and david allen - but those men would've made it alright for the next generation to genuinely consider the plp.

now its just a racial cold war - i am especially disgusted by gibbons who is a man of science and should know better - dunkley went to school in richmond virginia so he might just be a redneck.

bda has tried having the best and brightest blk men and women join the UBP - in the long run things just got worse (even dr. brown's family were UBP)

time to try something different

Is there any depth to which Ewart's behaviour could sink which would cause you to question the correctness of his actions as Premier?

PS You must answer without reference to the actions of any previous incumbent.
