Rummy - the fact is it's not a very nice thing to have to face the truth about what's going on. When people make friends and respect each other for the fact that they are decent people who work hard to get where they are it is an insult to one's intelligence to have such a neanderthal as Calvin Smith or LaVerne Furbert come straight out and condone outright racism simply because they feel it's within Ewart Brown's god given rights to simply give contracts to people of colour because of history.

Quite frankly, if what Calvin Smith is saying is a fact and they want to do so then by all means go right ahead. Just stop wasting people's money on printing contracts in the paper. Stop wasting people's time by putting anything out to bid. Don't bother with PATI or any kind of transparency programs. We get it. You want to run a corrupt government.

We can get on without you. Without your businesses or services. Without your rules or regulations. We can shut down our businesses to you as well. No sir Mr. Minister you are not welcome in my store. No sir Mr. Minister I shall not be available to pick you up at the airport. Sooner or later when people realize that Bermuda will implode because of these types of shenanigans then they will step up and vote them out and a more honest and fair group of people, such as a RenMan and a CO will step into the role of governing. This last week has been enlightening. I have met new people in town and it made me feel good that I could make a differance in their lives. Thats another thread which I will address later.
