well, if police would spend more time worrying about speeding, drink driving, general incompetence behind the wheel instead of issuing tickets. Take the licence of everyone committing these offences (and, OK, double parking by Leisure Time) - more room for anyone attempting to drive with some courtesy and sense. Permanently withdraw the licence of anyone caught drug dealing or committing violent crime. Oh and anyone talking on their cellphone while riding a moped. Politicians only get free gas for their bikes, not for their gas-guzzling limos. Much, much better public transport and then entice people to use it by any means necessary. Free dark and stormy on the ride home on the pink party bus. Pretty girls in bikinis punching tickets.

Meantime, impounding all the cars double parked or the bikes parked in handicapped spaces would be good- second offence, don't let them out again.
