Generally speaking, if you ever come across a Brit complaining about the service in Bermuda, beat him to a bloody pulp! I now think that the ?mother country? is from where Bermuda inherited its service levels. I have now lived in Canada, Bermuda, and London, and can compare service levels among all three. My Canadian data will be over a decade out of date, so please update me where necessary.

Your list I can mostly agree with except: Bermuda banks are awful (or they were in 2002-2004 anyway).  I've had to wait over 30 minutes in line for a simple transaction.  Like anything else in Bermuda where you need to deal with a Bermudian in person as a white expat, the service is slow, rude, and generally awful.

As an accountant too, I can assure you the corporate banking world in Bermuda was no better. They made mistakes nearly on a weekly basis (Bank of Bermuda) and getting corrections was like pulling teeth unless I got one of our admin assistants (probably related or an 'aunty' of who I was dealing with) to call for me.
