I think Bermuda is a misnomer, the island's real name should be Never Never Land. I remember reading comments in the Royal Gazette at the time Triminghams went belly up. One girl's main worry was that she wouldn't be able to find anywhere to buy her next bikini since she had a typical bermuda figure and all her friends thought her very sexy. I can imagine if this same girl had been on the Titanic her main worry would have been that her hairdo might get ruined.

There are certainly times it feels far removed from the real world... sometimes I think that if world war 3 broke out, the Bermuda media would probably still be putting Renee Webb's new hairstyle on the front page and talk radio would still be focussed on telling bermudasucks.com's webmaster that if he doesn't like it he should leave.
