I read that the government in their infinite wisdom (and when I say wisdom I mean insanity) is planning to pedestrianise Reid Street. Now OK, I know that several Bermuda drivers pretty much accomplish this themselves by double parking outside the Butterfield Bank at peak time, but I'm just curious to know what's the point and how is this going to help traffic flow? And if its pedestrianised, do we think it'll stop people driving there anyway?

Maybe they're planning to sneak in some more government parking spots there.

I think the whole of hamilton should be pedestrian and all the deliveries are done at night.
Park at parking centers and shuttle around on mini trams
the center of hamilton is just nuts and getting worse
if you want to drive in the core you have to get a permit
just throwing out ideas - i think it is a no win situation any way you go about it

Nice one, UM UM.  Great creative thinking, even if the idea isn't plausible, perhaps it will inspire something that could work.
