I heard that the auditor general gets to pay no import duty on anything he brings back from his trips off-island. Wow, I want that job so I can set up a side business importing... well, just about anything really. That has to be just about my favourite politician's perk... but how about setting an example to the poor saps that voted you in and declaring/paying duty voluntarily? Or maybe, in an ethical moment, changing the law so that all the pollies pay tax same as the rest of us.

And, the first MP to ride a moped to work daily would get my vote, if I had a vote to give!
