Police stats in the RG list 251 reported road collisions in September alone. 251. Doesn't that sound like an awful lot for a country with the population of a small town. And that is just the ones reported. How many vehicles are there on Bermuda's roads? And how on earth can there be so many accidents per month?

3 words:

No Brake Lights

or

Not Paying Attention

or

Going Too Fast

or

Crazy Bike Drivers

or

Ignorant Car Drivers

I'm sure there are other 3 worded reasons...

Tee Street. Greyish-Brown charging up the hill followed by some guy in a truck. Hit my Mobyylette's handle bar and jammed my hand between the brake and the throttle grip as it jumped over me and as I was dropping the bike to slide under. Got the knuckle scars to prove it.

Have to admit after that I was seeing horses all the way into town and almost drove straight through the retreat on Front Street. A policeman clapped me upside the side of the head as I was mossying on through. Never saw his road block. Undecided
