Hey all. Just graduated from uni and have been a long time follower of Bermudian politics. I have intermittently posted in the online community for the last 3 years, but the studies and extracurrics just became way too much, and I trailed off there towards the end. But now I'm back, taking it easy in a post-grad gap year, and newly alit by the BHC scandal and election fervour.

Welcome to Bermuda Sucks, EH. You won't be short of interest when it comes to the political scene at the moment. What else do you have planned for your gap yar?

Not too much. Just taking some chill jobs at my alma matter for the moment before I even think about law school (which is the ultimate objective). Travelling. Writing. The usual clichés. Also taking part in a bunch of different academic conferences throughout. Just came off helping out with this one on the Prevention of Genocide (http://efchr.mcgill.ca/) if anyone is inclined to look.

Hopefully, I'll be back home for the election - I truly think Dec. 18 is going to be an epoch-defining one for Bermuda. And as much as the numbers don't favour Dr. Brown, it comes down to electoral math and the PLP have a one-up on the Opposition. So we're gonna have to see.
