Zoom is apparently suspending flights from January through to March then reintroducing a limited service until the summer peak time. If you have a booking, you might want to double check it with them now.

I am glad that there is some competition for BA - just not Zoom!

The problem will be that despite all the delays, cancellations and general screw ups - many will still use the airline to save a couple of dollars - which is actually a false saving when you don't arrive, arrive late, have no luggage etc.

Anyone who still books on them after all we know can expect to get the quality service that comes with a bargain basement airline!

Happy flying....

i'd fly zoom again. why? because the ticket is half the price of a ticket on BA... and i couldn't afford to go and see my family half as much as i do now if i flew BA.

i also find the zoom crew to be incredibly friendly and 'refreshed' where as the BA seemed to just put up with us.

yeah... zoom may have its problems and i'll admit if i had to get somewhere and it was time sensitive i would fly BA if i could afford it. that aside i'm very happy to continue flying zoom.

they could seriously do with reevaluating their check-in staff in bermuda. miserable bunch of cows.

Something else,

You fly zoom with your eyes wide open - so you know what to expect.

It is a classic example of you get what you pay for!

I don't fly BA (so I am not a poster for them!)  -  I do fly through the States - similar price and I get a night there which suits me!

I will never fly Doom even if it free!

You should check the maintenance and inspection records of some of the budget airlines - save money at every turn!

Happy flying to all...

The zoom airlines check in staff go on a SPECIAL customer skills training course, bit like the one most of bank staff, shop staff, and those that work within the customer service industry also attend in this country. I had some woman telling me I couldnt book a flight the other day, when I expressed my dismay as the internet was showing the flight available she said well I ought to go book it on the net then. Only to get a mutter a few minutes later that she had put in the wrong date.  I wont go into the b**** who answered the phone at Butterfield Bank.
