Thanks guys that is very kind of you.  I took a generous donation from one of our members over a month ago to upgrade to SSL for added security and the hosting provider has just jerked me around over it. 

I'll research other hosts to see if I can find one who has some notion of 'change control' and business ethics.   Undecided

OK, so far so good.  On Lewis' recommendation, I've setup a new hosting account with GoDaddy.com and requested a SSL certificate for the domain.  I'll work on the transfer over the weekend and we'll see how the reliability improves.
