My understanding of the utility poles is that they are owned and maintained by Belco, and there is obviously an agreement in place with Telephone Company and Cable Vision for them to use the poles.

My "rant" is with Telephone Co and Cable Vision not switching over to replacement poles when Belco re-route a service. Case in point the junction of Watlington Road West and Middle Road. My problem here is that the existing poles are still in the carriageway. There are many other instances where re-routing occurs and the switchover never happens leaving poles in weird places, or pavements incomplete etc etc.

Is there anyone that can pressure the utilities to switch over, or is it just one of these things we have to put up with.

Rant over....

And if I went to Gorhams, bought a chainsaw and cut them down, it would disable my internet, and I wouldn't be able to read your posts.

You could be onto something Rummy............... Slap

We'll have to wait for someone to hit one and kill themselves. Then the situation will be corrected!
