While we watch in horror here in Canada, we struggle to understand Vince Li allegedly stabbing and cutting the head off a 22 year old man seated beside him.  Tim McLean is dead and his family and friends mourn him; they thought they'd be welcoming him home this summer. 

This violence can never be acceptable.  Knives kill too easily.  Even punches kill.  It is too high a price.

We have to turn back from the violence, or it will consume our society.   

The whole thing is bizarre. I will wait until all the dots are connected before even thinking why this happened.

Isolated incident? Previous behaviour that is related. Once a profile and what led this to happen then we will have more knowledge of what really caused it. Yes people snap, but what led to this will come out.
