Just had an employee give their notice after four months of being on island.  Not really surprised, and I wont miss them, but that makes me wonder...

What's the fastest you've seen someone arrive/depart Bermuda?

I was here for 3 days and was ready to go home, but fate had other plans....and here I am 3 years later - still wanting to go home! HAHAHAH!

Seriously - I've known someone to be here for a couple of months and then jump ship!

I saw someone give their notice after two weeks.  He actually seemed okay with the island but his wife was not.  End result was he put in his notice and his wife moved back to NY while he worked it out.

I knew a guy that did two shifts at a restaurant then hopped on a flight home without telling anyone.

BRILLIANT! Hahahah - maybe not so funny for the employer who paid all kinds of money to get the employee here...but I seriously wanted to pull the same thing when I first got here! HAHAHAHA!

TWO SHIFTS!!!

Damn.  Hope they never try an actual relationship.

Amazing how some people arrive here with an "idea" of what this place will be like, only to be bulldozed by reality.  Then they split costing the company a whole lotta time and money, and ruin it for the next bright hopefull.

Oh well.

Only in Bermuda.

Yep, and when he wasn't working he was sitting by a pool drinking beer.  How horrible that must have been for him.

That explains it.  The beer must have been too expensive. Slap
