Doc Brown threatens to sue Kim Swan over his allegation the Premier broke the law when negotiating over bringing the Uighurs to the Island.

What a system.  The LOP accuses the Prem of illegal activity on a radio show, and gets a fancy letter from lawyers!  Surely there is some sort of Parlementary procedure that should have been followed instead of this gong show?   blink

I'm so confused with this whole affair that i just can't wrap my head around it.  Didn't he break the law?  or no?

Just a freakin' circus if you ask me...

Whether he broke the law is a matter of interpretation. Up to the Courts in the final analysis. No doubt Brown was 'encouraged' by the AG's remarks to the Senate of late. And the case will be heard in a Bermuda Court context.

Maybe the Brits will speak up before it gets that far?

That said, why he wants to use my tax $ to smack the Opposition Ldr is beyond me. The UBP is dead - that's what Brown wanted. Why smack them (him) twice.

Maybe Brown would be better off thinking about what the 4 will do given that the AG also said they are not entitled to permanent residency. China is their home - the US doesn't want them. They can't stay here - except for up to 6 years as a 'guest'.

What a f... Up.
