HRH Queen Elizabeth II arrived in Bermuda with the Duke of Edinburgh to begin the Royal Visit marking the 400th anniversary of the Island.

Playing fast and lose with tradition, a pink carpet was substituted for the red carpet the Head of State receives in every other country.

It isn't cute.  It isn't fashionable.  It is disrespectful to the very empire which makes the Island possible.

Welcome to Bermuda - have it our way!   wacko

Mike... I think you might have blown your Canadian chances of receiving an honorary knighthood...

It's... Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II... not Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II...

Ciao...

From 'Portagee' to Royalty, it seems everyone does some landscape gardening in Bermuda.

I guess the FOUR gardeners the Government House grounds employ needed a hand keeping up.   blink
