The RG is running an article saying, "A court order banning The Royal Gazette from publishing information which Government wants to keep secret remained in place last night."

Attorney General Kim Wilson obtained the temporary gag from the Supreme Court after making a handwritten application, which cited "breach of confidence" as the cause of the action.

The RG vows to fight it, noting, "Its [the Government's previous] doomed bid to restrict the freedom of the press cost taxpayers at least $140,000."

I wonder what the new dirt is.

As if anything will surprise me now... there has been such a long record of corruption from this Government, I think we are all getting numb to the magnitude of it.

Define "slice".....

Will you share it?

I would suggest you access the tourism accounts, transport, et al. If you have any problems you can call Larry Dennis. I am sure that his ex-staff will be happy to hinnielate you.

Sparxx, this is not a church funtion or social. Salvation Army do their best along with other charities.

This is for real.

Gangs and violence  and drugs..................Bawahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
No connection at all. These recent deaths are just about unpaid parking tickets and the guy that looked like me and he used my helmet and gloves and underwear and I had a puff on his joint and my blood was found on his cell phone because I had a bloo toof that I was eating at the time because someone was stabbing a few guys in St. Davids and I thought they were trimming a Christmas Tree..........................

For **** sakes guys..................................Deal with it.

There ain't no 1-800 number for this one.

Someone shoots your wife, your child, your uncle, aunt et al. YOU CALL THE POLICE..................

Someone shoots, stabs, burns, dismembers, the guy down the street.....................................you do what..........................................

Gold chains and SUV's......................no food, no gas, no income, no person to beat, rob,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Times are hard for all. Front Street and IB should tell you that. I hope the morons are lsitening. I know they are because they type shit to the Bda Sun, RG et al......read it.

Mommy's and Daddies............................the irony of that.....................................

Gotta run.......................And don't talk about the villiage..................the occupants are leaving............................but the children will be left behind.

Ps. Mr. Zuill, Bill as I know you. Sue me....My comments were in jest and you know that and that is why I trust you with the edication of news and comments in Bermuda. Fare/fair and square. I don't give a flying front street walkabout what they think of you ( segment).

Not trying to pour gas on the fire.. but this little tidbit was on another bermuda forum..

"OK, so this guy walks into my local and orders a Guinness. Obviously he's a man of class and a worthy drinking partner. So after a few rounds he starts to let on about a few things going on in the neighborhood.... the top floors of some fancy building were designed for a casino but the cabinet has nixed the idea..... Some rich dude just lost his major tenant and cannot find another and he needs a fast bailout so he doesn't lose all his net worth, so he sells the government a building they don't need... oh, and something about the shit's hit the fan all over the place so it's best to just call some kind of election before the new kids get organized....

So I say: "Wow, tough neighborhood, lets have another round of Guinness.... cheers!"

Now I wonder if I'll remember any of that in the morning....."

Your not pouring gas on anything bdasucks. Smokes does a great job of that themselves hence the name "Smoking Gun".

Smokes has shares in the Esso Fuel Terminal and a major fire extinguisher company.............

Gotta run.......................Smoking Guiness aka "SG" flooding the blogs with John Barritt takes again................................ Slap

Ah yes... Gov't shelling out $24.5 million to buy the Swan Building.

No doubt they wanted to hide that deal from public scrutiny.

The article also mentions the the Par-la-Ville building from HSBC is on the block as well.  This sure rings of a Government in the last throws of desparation spending money it doesn't have to prop up an economy doomed to fail.

It's been nice knowing you.    Cool
