Shot by two men travelling on a motorcycle in the other direction?

On the surface, that doesn't sound like the the victim was premeditated - just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yet another young man is the victim of gun violence.

"Five people have been killed since January 2009 and 16 injured, amid a dramatic escalation in firearms incidents."

This is getting to be a way too frequent occurrence.   Sad

Its getting kinda boring in a way the news is either

1. Someone got shot
2. Politicians going on a jolly somewhere
3. A road death
4. Air arrivals are down again
5. Its been windy

Still in the uk its getting kinda boring too seems like some father is killing or attempting to kill their entire family every week !!!

A 31 year old man appeared in court and was charged with the shooting and attempted murder of the latest victim.

Yeah!  One off the streets.

Hmm... hard to avoid the international press when it isn't another young black male who gets shot.  I'm sure it would be more about press releases than prison sentences, but I think they'd have to show more willingness to protect the population - black, white, expat and other!
