Due to various reasons myself and my wife left the Bda depment dealing with animal imports and the UK one (DEFRA) with about 1.5 working days to sort out our export/import permits for our two cats.

According to the websites/forms etc this takes at least 10 working days, so needless to say we thought we had messed it all up and wouldn't be able to take our cats with us. (Which would have meant one of us staying in the UK until we could bring them in)

However both departments sorted everything out in time and the four of us are all here. Hurray for them both. Had phones calls from the nice lady in the BDA dept being very helpful.
